Pine Valley (18 June 1959)
Mrs. Helen Evans and daughter, Sonia, visited last weekend at the Harley Christianson cottage at Chippewa Falls.
Mrs. Carol Thomas of Marshfield visited last weekend at the home of her mother, Mrs. Helen Evans.
Eddie Smith of Brookfield visited last weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen D. Smith.
A wiener roast last week end at the Marion Robertson home brought together the Keith Fleming, Robert Poler, Albert Shutz, Harley Miller, Charles Foote and Otto Rakestraw families. Sandra Robertson has her little finger in a splint cast. She broke it playing basketball.
Robert Frantz underwent major surgery at Memorial Hospital Monday.
Mrs. Agnes Karl, who has been living at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Drescher, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Brooks Karl (her son and daughter-in-law).
Cpl. And Mrs. Raymond Rhoades visited last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Marg.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Miller attended the funeral of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mark Lezotte, at For Atkinson Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Dux visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Nitschke at Granton.
Miss Janice Milton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Milton, is leaving today (Thursday) for Madison to take an eight-week summer school course. She plans to return to Purdy High School at Marshfield in September.
E. M. 3 Keith Durham, stationed at Norfolk, Va., arrived Sunday for a two-week visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Durham and family.
