Cook, Ronald (30 JAN 1949 - 1 OCT 2010)

GREEN BAY -- Ronald Cook, 61, of Green Bay, passed away Friday, Oct. 1, 2010.

He was born Jan. 30, 1949, to Roderick and Leona (Steinwand) Cook in Colby Ron graduated from Colby High School. Ron married Patricia Rhoades on Sept. 4, 1993. He farmed for many years before pursuing a career with MEE Material Handling in Kaukauna. He loved to travel out West; he especially enjoyed the Grand Tetons.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Patricia (LeMieux) Cook; his father, Roderick (Alice) Cook; daughter, Renee (Joel) Blazer; sons, Darrell (Melissa) Cook, Ryan (Michelle) Cook, and stepson, James Rhoades (Jenni Stachura); grandchildren, Kayla, Keagan, Kiefer, Dharma and Amber; brothers, David (Ginny), Michael (Juanamaria), Gary (Monica), Kevin (Pam); brother-in-law, Dan (Sue) LeMieux; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Beatrice LeMieux.

Funeral services were held Thursday at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay.

A memorial fund is being established in his name.
