Heiting, Henry (22 FEB 1864 - 6 JAN 1956)
Funeral services were held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church at Stanley at 9 a.m. Tuesday for Henry Heiting, 91, of rural Stanley. He died Friday night at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Arcadia.
The Rev. Edward Cramer officiated and burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Mr. Heiting was born in Holland on Feb. 22, 1864. He came to America with his parents at the age of six and they settled in Holland Town, Wis. It was there that he married Miss Christina Conrady. They moved to a farm in Clark County. After her death in 1915, he moved to Stanley and in 1937 he married Helen Micke. In 1950 he moved to the farm home of his daughter, Mrs. Barbara Sorenson, where he had since resided.
Survivors include one son, Lawrence, Stanley, and the following daughters: Mrs. Alfred Rodriquez of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Barbara Sorenson of Stanley; Mrs. Leonard Zimmerman of Boyd; Mrs. Ernest Boushon of Park Falls; Mrs. Charles Fitzsimmons of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Jack Rodriquez of Dundee, Ill.; one brother, Theodore of Stanley; 22 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
