Paap, Richard (27 FEB 1882 - FEB 1956)
Funeral services for Richard Paap, 73, a resident of the Town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), RR, Stanley, were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Epiphany Lutheran Church at Stanley with the Rev. R. W. Olson officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery.
Mr. Paap was born in Bloomington, Wis., Feb. 27, 1882. On Oct. 15, 1919, he married Edna Schmidt at Nekoosa, Wis., where they resided until 1921. Mr. Paap was employed as a millwright in the paper mill there. In 1921 they moved to the town farm.
He is survived by his wife, on son, George, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Henry Hanson, Stanley; Mrs. Robert Lauer of Sauk City, Wis., and Mrs. Omar Thorpe of Darlington; four brothers, Otto of Toronto, Canada; John of Polo, Ill., Paul of Babcock, Wis., and Oscar, Eau Claire, and two grandchildren.
