Kirn, Marion (Marriage - 20 June 1959)

Miss Marion Kirn, daughter of Martin Kirn and Mrs. John Betz, and Robert Herrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Herrick, all of Willard, repeated nuptial vows Saturday in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Aloysius Madic in Holy Family Church, Willard.

The bride, given in marriage by her brother, was attired in a floor-length white nylon organza gown. The very full skirt was fashioned with flying panels appliquéd in French sequined lace.  The fitted bodice, with short sheared sleeves, was fashioned with a sequin studded, scooped neckline.  Her finger-tip veil fell from a sequin studded crown headpiece.  Pink roses and white stephanotis made up her crescent shaped bridal bouquet.

Mrs. Frances Koschak of Waukegan, Ill., was matron of honor. Other aids were Mrs. Florence Popp, Tomah, and Miss Marion Petkovsek, Chicago, bridesmaids.

Donald Kern, brother of the bride, was bestman. Groomsmen were Reinhart Popp, Tomah, and Oliver Smith of St. Paul, Minn.  Donald Petkovsek, Peoria, Ill., and Donald Kirn, Willard, ushered.

Three hundred guests attended the reception in the West Side Hall in Willard.

The former Miss Kirn is a graduate of Greenwood High School and of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, and has been employed in the Veterans Administration Hospital at Tomah.  The groom attended the Willard Schools and is engaged in farming.

On their return from a wedding trip to the southwestern states they will reside at Willard.

People from away here for the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jolaso and Paul, Rock Springs, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Murphy and family, Marshall, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. O. Smith and children, St. Paul; Mrs. Ann Petkovsek and son, Peoria, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. David Koschak, Waukegan, Ill.; Miss Marion Petkovsek, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Reinhart Popp, Tomah; Misses Marlene Docomy, Alta Zeilsdorf, Jane Scheurick, and Rose Mary Fuchs,  all of Tomah; Miss Carol Eckelberg, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
