Pierce, Christene Ann (Marriage - 19 June 1959)

The Harlandale Christian Church in San Antonio, Tex., was the scene of the June 19 wedding of Miss Christene Ann Pierce and Da Wayne Hugh Howard of Neillsville. The Rev. Howard J. Pierce, father of the bride, performed the nuptial ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Howard Pierce of Rosenberg, Tex., and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Howard, Neillsville.

For her wedding, the former Miss Pierce wore a floor-length gown of Alencon lace and tulle over taffeta. The fitted bodice featured a high rounded neckline, and long sleeves that tapered to a point at the wrists.  The very full bouffant skirt was designed with side panels forming an overskirt of the tulle.  Her veil of illusion lace - cascaded from a sequin studded crown headpiece, and she carried a blue orchid.

The Newlyweds are residing at 111 Tennessee, San Antonio, Tex.  Mr. Howard is with the armed forces.
