York Township (2 July 1959)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lavene and family, Mrs. Emil Winkelman, Mrs. Hattie Forman and Mrs. Charles Greeler called on Mrs. Greeler’s brother, Herman Schwantes, at the hospital in Marshfield Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kernz are spending a week with relatives in Minnesota, and last weekend attended the wedding of a relative.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wally Erickson and family spent last weekend at the home of a brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack True, at Clintonville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lavene and family and Mrs. Hattie Forman visited Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Embke.

 

Bonnie Lavene, Marian Bredlau, Roger Foemmel, Billy and Barbara Genteman attended a meeting of the Farmers Union reserves at Lake Wissota last weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Schmitz and son, Gary, of Chili were supper guests Sunday and on Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Erwin of Cadott visited and had supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heinzen.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Winkelman and Mrs. Hattie Forman visited Thursday at the home of Mrs. Fern Vandeberg.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vandeberg and son, Mike, of Neenah, visited last week from Wednesday to Friday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Fern Vandeberg, and at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Vandeberg.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bartz entertained at a family picnic Sunday at their home, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hughes and children of Grant, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Haase and children of Neenah, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Voigt and children of Washburn, Mr. and Mrs. James Voigt of Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. James West and children of Neillsville.

 

Mrs. Joseph Meyer, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Meyer, and children, and Mrs. Wilma Owen of Lime Spring, Ia., were dinner guests recently of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pisny.
