Jasinek, Frank Sr. (13 DEC 1893 - 15 JUN 1956)
A longtime resident of the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), Frank Jasinek Sr., 62, passed away suddenly at his farm Friday, June 15, 1956 of a heart attack.
The deceased was born in Joliet, Ill., on Dec. 13, 1893. He came to the town of Withee with his parents in 1903.
He was united in marriage to Edna Lesniewski on June 27, 1916, at St. Hedwig’s Church. He had been farming in this vicinity since his marriage.
He leaves to mourn, besides his wife, two sons, Frank Jr. of Thorp and Stanley of Chicago, six grandchildren, a brother, Joseph of Chicago, and a sister, Helen Haraburda of Chicago, Ill.
He was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Francis Piekarski, Rev. C. Chilicki of St. Hedwig’s, and Rev. Eugene Konopko of St. Stanislaus of Lublin, Wis., Monday morning, June 18 at 10:00 o’clock.
Interment took place at St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Maslowski, Joseph Haraburda, Jr., Joseph Panek, Adam Wiater, Frank Hoffman and Walter Zurakowski.
Out of town relatives and friends attending were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jasinek and daughters, Adele, Geraldine and Leona, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Urbanski and son Dennis, Mr. and Mrs. John Wiater and Mr. Richard Wiater, all of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Helen Lesniewski, Mrs. Fred Metry and sons and Mrs. Agnes Ziolkowski of St. Paul, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. John Lesniewski Jr. and son of Mr. John Lesniewski Sr., of Redville, Wis., Louis Zukowski and Miss Tillie Zukowski, Tony Lesneski and Mrs. Sophie Lesneski of Chippewa Falls, Stanley Szachowiec of Milwaukee, Wis.
