Young, Ruth L. (28 DEC 1924 - 17 OCT 2010)

LOYAL -- Ruth L. Young, 85, of Loyal died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at the Marshfield Care Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Burial will follow in the Loyal Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Ruth Lucille Haslow was born Dec. 28, 1924, in Loyal, the daughter of Ed and Rella (Kline) Haslow. She was united in marriage to Robert Young on Sept. 20, 1944, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. They farmed in the town of Beaver for 30 years and moved into Loyal in 1977. Ruth then worked as a cook for the Loyal Public Schools for a few years. Her husband, Bob, died July 4, 2008.

She is survived by one daughter, JoAnn (Hap) Weyer of Loyal; one son, Robert (Julie) Young of Madison; three grandsons, one step-grandson and two great-grandchildren.
