Zweig, Brandon Darwin (26 February 1990 - 11 October 2010)
Brandon D. Zwieg, 19, of Willard, passed away in Eau Claire Monday, Oct. 11, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Neillsville United Church of Christ with Rev. James Mohr officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Willard at a later date. Visitation will be held at the Church Saturday, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
Cuddie Funeral home, of Greenwood, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Brandon D. Zwieg, 20, of Willard passed away in Eau Claire Monday, Oct. 11, 2010.
Brandon Darwin Zwieg was born Feb. 26, 1990, in Marshfield, the son of Darwin and Ruth (Krainz) Zwieg. He was raised in Willard and received his education in Greenwood, graduating from Greenwood High School in 2008, where he played football, basketball and baseball. Brandon was in his third year at UW-Eau Claire, pursuing a degree in information systems, while working at Menard’s. He was a very outgoing and active person. At the age of 13, Brandon rode his bike 160 miles to raise money for The Highground Memorial in Neillsville. He enjoyed playing intramural sports, including volleyball, football, basketball and racquetball.
He was a member of the Neillsville United Church of Christ and held the marketing position on the executive board of the Association of Information Technology Professionals.
Brandon had many interests but especially loved deer and turkey hunting, fishing, all family activities and socializing with his large circle of friends.
He will be deeply missed by his parents, Darwin and Ruth Zwieg of Willard; his brother, Justin Zwieg of Milwaukee; his aunts and uncles, Iris (Richard) Hulbert of Slinger, Donna (Allan) Harbort of Brookfield, Robert (Mary Ann) Krainz of Willard, Larry (Cheryl) Krainz of Marshfield; and several cousins.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville with visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service. Rev. James Mohr officiated. Burial will take place in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, in Willard, at a later date. Honorary pallbearers were: Duane Krainz, Michael Harbort, James Harbort, Cal Kraegenbrink, Derrick Hackel, Justin Held, Matthew Schult and Erik Berns.
In lieu of flowers, Brandon’s family asks that memorials be given to the Brandon Zwieg Memorial Scholarship Fund or to a charity of your choice.
