Granton, Wisconsin Senior Citizens (October Meeting - 14 October 2010)
Neillsville News - By Amber Pischer - Twenty-five Granton senior citizens held their potluck lunch and meeting at the Sportsman’s Club Thursday, Oct. 14. President Annabelle Garbisch, Secretary Alene Lautenbach and treasurer, Mildred Todd, were re-elected as officers. Monica Mulligan was elected vice president, as Amber Pischer has asked to be replaced as vice president. Vicki Schlinsog invited members at the Zion American Lutheran Church soup dinner/bazaar to be held Sunday, Oct. 24. Merle Bartsch told about the interesting Vietnam display now at the Learning Center at The Highground. Ice cream was furnished by Alene Lautenbach in honor of her birthday. Bonnie Langreck from the Agin Office advised members about changes seniors should watch for that may or may not change and stressed the importance of not signing anything until completely sure of what they are signing. Lots of mail will arrive in our mailbox; check carefully! The next meeting of the senior citizens is scheduled to be held at the Sportsman’s Club Thursday, Nov. 11, with the potluck lunch served promptly at noon.
