Granton, Wisconsin (6 August 1959)
The Royal Neighbor Lodge of Granton met Thursday evening at the Clifford Paulson’ home near Neillsville with 14 present. Regular business was conducted.
Mr. and Mrs. Clark Waterman left Monday for Madison to spend several days with their daughter, Mrs. Ralph Okray and family. They were accompanied by their granddaughter Emily Jane, who returned home after spending several weeks with her grandparents.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gildermeister and Carla, Racine, visited Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trimberger. Mrs. Gildermeister is the former Leona Hahn of Granton.
The Women’s Society of Christian Service will meet this (Thursday) afternoon at 1 o’clock in the Methodist church.
Leo Toberen and son, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and his mother Mrs. Emil Toberen of Unity, were Tuesday visitors at the Mrs. Michael Zahradka home. Mr. and Mrs. James Wuensch and daughter, Sheboygan, spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Zahradka, and her family.
Mrs. Charles Bladl returned Sunday from a month’s visit in Caledonia and Hokah, Minn., with her sisters. She returned with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bladl of Owen, who spent the weekend in Minnesota.
Jeffrey and Keith Eibergen are staying with their grandmother, Mrs. Michael Zahradka, while their mother is a hospital patient.
Mrs. Vincent Gorst and daughter, Lucille, pent a few days last week visiting friends in Mauston.
Mrs. Callie Schoengarth left Friday with her daughter, Mrs. Rollie Smith of Altoona, for her cottage at Long Lake, where she will spend a month with Mrs. Robert Wellman and family of Rock Island, Ill.
