"The witch-hazel stick did it again," said Mrs. John Sollberger.
As a result the Sollbergers now have a 53-foot well, with plenty of good water, at their back porch. It is right where Gerald Davis and his "magic wand" indicted that water would be found.
The Sollbergers had been without water at their residence for several years, and had been carrying it from a well in their pasture, 400 feet away. The well was drilled last week. The drill went through sand rock, and quit when it hit granite, at 53 feet. The water is sparkling clear, has a good taste and there is a good supply, Mrs. Sollberger said.
