The W. S. C. S. will meet Friday afternoon at Grace Methodist Church. Hostesses will be Mmes. Fred Murphy, Hugh Christie, Walter Swieso, Don Decker, Alma Mason, May Clendenning, William Marden and the Rev. Ethel Nulton.
Mrs. John Zepaltus entertained at her home Saturday afternoon in honor of the fourth birthday of her twin daughters, Debra and Diane. Guests were: Mrs. Harlan Brux, Allen and Edward; Mrs. Art Bushman, Rita and Keith; Mrs. John Jasurda and Rita; Mrs. Paul Hempel and Debra; Mrs. Wayne Herdrick, Janet and Art; and Mrs. Joseph Jasurda and children.
Classmates helped Rosemary Denk celebrate her 12th birthday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Denk, on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Corbin and children of Milwaukee spent Wednesday and Thursday with his grandmother, Mrs. Christ Keiner. Before returning to Milwaukee they are spending some time at a lake near Butternut. Other Wednesday evening guests at the Severson home were Mr. and Mrs. Bud Albrecht and Kathy of Arpin. Thursday visitors were Frederick Gotz of Pittsville and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Schmidt and son of Superior.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie and Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Dyre and family attended a family reunion Sunday at Wild Rose.
Mrs. Catherine Lindner, Mrs. Catherine Schmitz, Mrs. Frieda Ampe, Mrs. Frances Hinker and Mrs. John Bushman were entertained Saturday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Linder’s sister, Mrs. Walter Stabnow in Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kuester and Albert Fravert have returned after spending several days in Michigan, where they toured the copper reclamation factory at Hubbell. At Calumet they visited (missing words).
Members of Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid Society will have a picnic this (Thursday) afternoon at the Greenwood Park.
At the meeting of the Adult Fellowship Sunday evening at the Zion United Church Allen Schneider showed movies of Germany, Austria and other European countries taken by him on a 49-day leave in Europe. Hosts were Allen’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schneider, and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hatton.
