Zagar, Mary (? - 3 August 1959)
Mrs. Peter (Mary) Zagar of the Town of Seif died in Neillsville August 3, after a lingering illness.
She was born in Yugoslavia and grew to womanhood there, arriving in Ely, Minn., where she was married to Peter Zager. They later moved onto a farm in Willard, and later resided in the Town of Seif, where she lived until her death.
Funeral services were held last Thursday from the Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard, with Rev. Fr. Aloysius Madic officiating. A general rosary was held Wednesday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood at 8 p.m. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Matt (Anne) Merlak, Mrs. Paul (Irene) O’Black, Jr., of Loyal, and Mrs. Edward (Elsie) Perko of Willard; three sons, Peter, Jr., Frank and Robert, Neillsville; several grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
