Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Perushek and Mary Ann, of Duluth, Minn., who are guests of his father, Ludwig Perushek of Willard, also are visiting his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Schultz, here.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Schultz returned last week from a two-week vacation trip to Arizona, New Mexico and Old Mexico.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith and Lorraine were Sunday visitors at the Harry Smith home in Sechlerville.  Mrs. Smith and Lorraine visited several days last week with relatives and friends in Minneapolis, Minn., and also called at the Al Nelson home in Faribault, Minn.

 

Mrs. John R. Bergemann and Mrs. C . E. Bollom were in Madison Tuesday, where they consulted an eye specialist.  They were accompanied by Mrs. Bollom’s daughter, Mrs. Ray Fradette of Eau Claire, and Mrs. Herbert Keller.

 

Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Benson have returned home from a trip on which they visited relatives at Lewistown and Lindsey, Mont., and Valley City and Kathryn, N. D.  Enroute home they visited in Chetek and Rice Lake.  They were accompanied by Mrs. Fritz Bernatz and daughter, who visited her parents in Lewistown.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Drake of La Crosse spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Drake.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert (Marie Thoma) Endel and son, Pat, West Allis, left Monday for home after spending a week with her sister, Mrs. Claude Ayers, and her family.  Sunday visitors at the Ayers home were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bertz and children, Melvin Ayers and Miss Marion Rogstad, all of Loyal.  Enroute home the Endels visited the Donald Ayers family in New Lisbon.

 

Miss Lois Howard, who spent the week in Milwaukee, and the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Howard, returned to Milwaukee Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Al Nesbitt and  two daughters of Elmhurst, Ill., are spending two weeks with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Nesbitt, and his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Seif.

 

Mrs. Lida Meyers and her sister, Miss Josie Bass, left Monday on a two-week vacation at Lake Culle, near Brainerd, Minn.

 

Mrs. Rose Schiller and Miss Josie Bass visited Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Reinhard at their home near Bloomer.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alden Olson and two children, Jacqueline, 3, and Gregory, 2, moved Saturday into the former Fred Dangers residence. (next lines were blurred.)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Riphenberg and children of Chippewa Falls were dinner guests Sunday of his mother, Mrs. Belle Riphenberg.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gault and son, Jimmy, of Wausau, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Simek and Mrs. Ed Gault.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Wachholz and children of Columbus, O., visited Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wachholz last weekend.

 

Robert Boysen of Hopkins, Minn., is visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Munger.

 

Richard Ihlenfeldt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ihlenfeldt, is a guest for several days of Tim Harvey.  He is the son of the former Clark County Agent, now in Walworth County. 

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kadlecik and children of Racine were guests for a few days earlier this week of Mrs. Adele Zuege.  Mrs. Kadlecik is the former Verna Zuege.

 

Mrs. Marlin Schmidt and Mrs. Gordon Thur of Fairchild visited Mrs. Thur’s father, Ben Wegner, Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Westphal and Monwell plan to return this weekend to Norfolk, Nebr., after spending a three-week vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Westphal.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Oris Anding and four daughters of Mayville visited Mr. and Mrs. Charles Anding Friday.

 

Col. and Mrs. Francis Schweinler and daughter, Luan, of Mosinee, Mr. and Mrs. William Schweinler of Princeton, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Brisco of La Crosse, and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Humke and daughter of Rochester, Minn., visited at the Earl Bruhn home recently.  Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Raines of Alexandria, Va. visited four days last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruhn. They are moving to Charleston, S. C., where he will be stationed.  His parents, M/Sgt. and Mrs. George Raines of Fort Belvoir, Va., were with them.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Braatz of Rice Lake visited Thursday and had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Braatz.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bud Wachholz and daughters of Columbus O. are visiting this week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wachholz.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Christensen and daughter, Kaye, of Chippewa Falls spent Sunday at the home of the Walter Larsen family.  Mr. and Mrs. Anton Hubing called there Sunday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Larsen visited at the William Meihak home Monday evening.
