Pursey, Opal Brenda (8 September 1909 - 21 August 1959)

 

Mrs. Opal Brenda Pursey, 49, of Atlantic City, N. J., formerly of Greenwood, died Friday in Atlantic City of a heart attack.  The body was brought to Greenwood early Tuesday morning.  Funeral service were held Wednesday afternoon from the Hill Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ethel Nulton officiating.  Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Pursey, the former Opal Greene, was born in Greenwood September 8, 1909. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School class of 1927, and had been a resident of Atlantic City for the last 15 years.

 

She is survived b y her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Greene of Butternut; a brother, Orville Greene of Loyal; a sister, Mrs. Douglas (Beatrice) Goehring of Buchanan, Mich.; and a son, J. H. Hoffman, who is in the air force in Japan.
