Theisen, Charles (Abt. 1928- 11 SEPT 2010)
Dr. Charles E. Theisen, 82, a native of Loyal, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, Sept. 16.
He served in the U.S. Army medical corps in 1946-47. He graduated from Marquette School of Medicine in 1954, and was a certified member of the Board of Family Practice. He practiced medicine for nearly 40 years in South Milwaukee, and in the 1979’s he served as chief of staff at Trinity Hospital, Cudahy.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Carol (nee Keup) Theisen; seven children; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Betty (Jerome) Johnson, Eau Claire; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Theisen and Ethelyn Theisen; one brother-in-law, Homer Betts; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were a daughter, Ann, in 1991; and siblings Leo, Bill, Eleanore, Ray, Florence, Mary Jane, Abbot Primate Jerome OSB, and Barbara.
