O’Brien, Angeline, (26 SEPT 1942 - 20 OCT 2010)
Angeline R. O’Brien, 68, Racine, passed away at her residence on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, surrounded by her devoted husband and loving family. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., on Wednesday at Draeger Langendorf Funeral Home, Racine. Rev. John Fleming officiated. Burial followed in West Lawn Memorial Park.
Angeline Tolaney was born in Greenwood, on Sept. 26, 1942, the daughter of Joseph and Jennie (nee Horvat) Tolaney. On Oct. 26, 1963, in Willard, she married Alvin P. O’Brien. They opened O’Brien Tire on July 1, 1967. She took care of the office and the books while Al took care of the shop. She enjoyed bowling, watching and investing in the stock market, and was an avid reader. She was a member of the Mensa Society: that’s probably why she graduated second in her high school class.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Al; their children, Debbie (Joe) Crenshaw and Mark O’Brien; two granddaughters, Madison and Tori Crenshaw, all of Racine; sisters and brothers, Joanne (LeRoy) Kesler, Minneapolis, Joe (Karen) Tolaney, Johnny (Kris) Tolaney, Germantown, Margie Wilhelm, Waukesha and Tony Tolaney, Hawaii; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family has suggested memorials to the Lupus Foundation or your favorite charity.
