Rude, George (? - August 1959)
Funeral services for George Rude, 78, were conducted Thursday afternoon from the Bergemann Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank B. Harcey, pastor of the United Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Charles Neff, Sr., Charles Poole, E. H. Snyder, Bob Wagner, Fred Wall and Arnold Yankee.
Hymns, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Just for Today" were sung by Ellis Wall, accompanied by Mrs. Jess Scott.
The Wilson-Heintz Post, No. 2241, was in charge of military rites. Those taking part were: Heron Van Gorden, P. C. Ludovic, Robert W. Schiller, Donald Drescher, Thomas Flynn, Mike Krultz, Jr., and DeWayne Dux.
People from out of town attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Carlson, Red Bank, N. J.; Mr. and Mrs. William Stucki, Madison; and Mr. and Mrs. George Wolf, Chetek.
