Hannan, Margaret (06 JUNE 1949)
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Lyons have returned from a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin. They were married on Monday, June 6, in St. Mary’s Catholic parsonage in Neillsville by the Rev. Fr. John J. Pritzl.
The bride is the former Miss Margaret Hannan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hannan of Loyal, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Judd Lyons of Neillsville.
Miss Dorothy was maid of honor for her sister, and Miss Helen Kren was bridesmaid. Attending the groom were James Hannan, brother of the bride and Harold Kren.
For the double-ring 10 a.m. ceremony the bride wore a white satin gown, detailed with a French lace yoke. Her fingertip veil was attached to a pearl headdress, and she carried a bouquet of red roses and lilies of the valley.
The bridal aides were attired in identically styled lavender and gold taffeta gowns, respectively, and wore matching gautlets and short veils. They carried bouquets of roses and carnations.
Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner and reception were held at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride graduated from the Loyal high school in 1945, and the groom is a graduate of the Neillsville high school. He is employed by an oil company in Neillsville, where the newlyweds will reside.
The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
