Hahm, Charles R. (7 August 1940 - 12 September 1959)
Funeral services for Charles R. Hahm, 19, were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. The Rev. L. E. Schreiber officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Hahm was born August 7, 1940, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hahm, of the Town of York. He moved with his family to Milwaukee in 1955, where he had been residing. He received his education in the Marshfield and Milwaukee schools and was graduated in 1958 from Washington High School in Milwaukee.
Charles and two companions from Milwaukee were visiting in the Marshfield area and figured in a car accident Saturday afternoon in Marathon County. He was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hahm, Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Beverly) Matkovich, Milwaukee; Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Roewart, Chicago; and Carol Hahm of Milwaukee, two brothers, Palmer and William of Milwaukee, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Milda Hahm of Racine. His mother preceded him in death (in June 1946).
