Neeb, Joyce Mae (Marriage - 26 September 1959)

(The first few lines of this wedding were missing on my copy for Joyce Mae Neeb and Walter Emil Wetzel)

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Neeb, Rt. 1, Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Wetzel, Rt. 3, Neillsville.

The Rev. Norman Lindloff performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, approached the altar attired in a floor length gown of illusion lace with a ruffled back skirt and a finger tip veil held in place by a crown-like head piece.  She carried a white orchid surrounded by deep pink roses in a cascade bouquet.

Miss LaVaun Neeb, Dodge Center, Minn. was maid of honor, and Miss Hazel Wetzel of Neillsville was the bridesmaid.  They wore identical floor-length dresses of gold Chantilly lace, with bow like hats, and carried bouquets of gold and bronze chrysanthemums and white carnations.

Raymond Wetzel, brother of the groom, was best man, and Herbert Wagner was groomsman.  Neil Neeb and Ronald Meihak were the ushers.

Following the ceremony a dinner was served at St. John’s School and a reception was held later at the home of the bride.

Mrs. Wetzel is a graduate of Loyal High School and has been employed as a clerk in Loyal.  Mr. Wetzel a graduate of Neillsville High School is engaged in farming and hauls milk. They are residing on a farm, recently purchased by the groom on Rt. 3 Neillsville.
