Neillsville, Wisconsin Area (22 October 1959)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Grassman of the Town of Grant and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Brooks of Lynn returned Saturday from a 10-day camping trip in the Rice Lake Area.

 

Harold Murphy, who is employed at Anoka, Minn., spent last weekend with his family.

 

Ellis Stoll, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stoll, is visiting friends in Milwaukee.

 

Mrs. Laura Amidon and Mrs. Mary Frantz were moved Tuesday from Memorial Hospital to the Neillsville Nursing Home.

 

Alvin Voelker of Chili visited Mrs. Kleinschmidt at Memorial Hospital Tuesday afternoon.

 

Mrs. Everett (Anna) Raine of Pine Valley was scheduled to return home Wednesday following a few days of observation at Memorial Hospital.

 

Robert Rollins was scheduled to return to his home in the Town of Fremont Wednesday following an attack of pneumonia, for which he was hospitalized at Memorial Hospital.  His home is rural Spencer.

 

Sarah Albrecht, who has been doing practice teaching at Glenwood City High School, has been a patient at Memorial Hospital since Friday.  She entered with a strep throat and severe cold.  She is a student at Stout State College.

 

Jennie Romosh of Willard is a patient at Memorial Hospital, where she is being treated for an infection of her left leg.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kutsche have returned from a 10-day trip to New York State, where they visited Mrs. Kutsche’s sister, Mrs. Frank Gloff, and brother, Ed Liskow, both of whom reside in Little Valley. They visited Buffalo and saw Niagara Falls from both American and Canadian sides.

 

Duane Riedel, former principal of the Southside Grade School and now on the Marshfield Public School staff, visited friends in Neillsville Tuesday evening and took in the Senior Class Play.

 

Mrs. Agnes Cummings is having a week’s vacation from her duties at the Tomah Veterans’ Hospital.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Howard O. Geise left Wednesday morning for Pipestone, Minn., where they planned to visit their son, Daryl.  They planned to go on to their former home at Clark, S. D. to visit relatives and hunt pheasants.
