Walde, Donna Jean (Marriage - 17 October 1959)
Miss Donna Jean Walde, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Walde of Willard, and James Boe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Boe of Greenwood, repeated nuptial vows Saturday in Holy Family Church, Willard. The Rev. Fr. Aloysius Madic performed the double ring ceremony before an altar graced with baskets of chrysanthemums.
For her wedding the bride wore an embroidered nylon tulle over taffeta gown. The very full bouffant skirt was fashioned with an apron front and nylon tulle ruffle cascading from the back waistline to the floor. The fitted bodice, with a Sabrina neckline, had long, tapered sleeves that buttoned at the wrists. Her veil of imported silk illusion, with hand rolled edge, was attached to an open crown trimmed with sequins. She carried a bridal bouquet of red roses and white carnations surrounding a white orchid.
Mrs. Elaine Hansen of Willard was her matron of honor. She was attired in a fuchsia colored dress of nylon chiffon over taffeta. She wore a matching head piece with a nose veil, and carried a bouquet of fuchsia and white carnations.
Miss Mary Johnson and Miss Donna Auman, both of Greenwood, wore cotillion blue dresses styled identically to that of the matron of honor. They carried blue and white carnations.
The groom was attended by Francis Hansen as best man. His groomsmen were Ted Martens of Greenwood and Robert Boe of Chicago, Ill.
On their return, from a wedding trip to Milwaukee the newlyweds will reside in Greenwood, where the groom is employed.
