Kenyon, Delia (31 August 1876 - 21 October 1959)
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday from the United Church for Mrs. Delia (Mithilda) Kenyon, 83, who died Wednesday in Milwaukee County Hospital. The Rev. Frank B. Harcey officiated, and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Kenyon was born August 31, 1876, in Millston, where on March 17, 1897, she was married to Riley W. Kenyon. They farmed in the Millston area and in Clark County. She formerly was a resident of Neillsville, but had resided in Milwaukee since 1954.
Four children survive Mrs. Kenyon. They are Mrs. Steve (Minnie) Stasick, Warren and Ernest Kenyon, all of Milwaukee; and Melvin Dittman of Viroqua. Also surviving are a brother, Charles Dittman of Portland, Ore.; 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Georgas Funeral Home made the funeral arrangements.
Pallbearers were: Harold and William Milbreit, William Jake, Sr., Elmer Filitz, Alvin Eisentraut and Ernest Campbell.
The W. R. C. Ladies attended the services in a group.
Two hymns, "In The Garden" and "Asleep In Jesus," were sung by Mrs. Robert D. Peters, accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.
People from away here for the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Steve Stasick and son, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kenyon, and Warren Kenyon, all of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dittman, Viroqua; Mr. and Mrs. M. Frantz, Marshfield.
