Clark County, Wisconsin Military Inductions (4 November 1959)
Seven Clark County men were inducted into the army at Minneapolis through selective service November 4, the county selective service office has reported.
They are: Otto L. Becker, Jr., and Robert H. Cieslek, both of Owen; Gerald F. Dietsche of Spencer; Jerome H. Kasper of Unity; and Ronald B. Froeba, Wayne W. Demuth and Elgin D. Roehl, all of Rt. 2 Loyal. All were sent to Fort Carson, Colo., for basic training.
In addition to these, the office reported that:
Kenneth L. Green of Humbird enlisted in the air force and entered active duty October 22; and Leslie R. Conklin of Rt. 3, Thorp, enlisted in the Marine Corps and entered active duty October 21.
