York Township (19 November 1959)
The York Community club was scheduled to meet at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Eibergen Wednesday noon, for a Thanksgiving dinner. Arrangements were to be made for a Christmas party in December.
Donald Rowe took care of the chores at the Paul Frischman farm last weekend.
Leon Metcalf, Henry Seebandt, Jr., Lyle Armitage, Helmuth Levanduske, and Arnold Halle have been hunting since Saturday in the Butternut area. An early report said that Seebandt got a seven-point buck Sunday.
Clarence Hoesly, Paul Frischman and Lyle Voight hunted near Phillips last weekend and brought home a 10-point buck.
