Persak, Bernice (30 DEC 1922 - 8 NOV 1956)
Rev. Francis Piekarski officiated at funeral services held at St. Hedwig’s Church here at ten o’clock Monday morning, Nov. 12 for Mrs. Bernice Persak, 34, who passed away suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 8th, 1956.
Bernice Nowicki was born on Dec. 30, 1922 in Clark County, Wis. She was united in marriage to Frank Persak at Thorp in 1939.
Besides her husband Frank of Chicago, she is survived by two daughters, Virginia and Lillian of Thorp and one son, John of Chicago; six sisters, Mrs. Leona Segunia, Frances, Mrs. Al Pawlicki, Dehlia, Mrs. St. Mihalek and Mrs. Martha Price of Chicago, and Lottie, Mrs. Wm. Przybylski, and Mrs. Stella Onisczuk of Thorp; two brothers, Vilas Nowicki of Gilman and Anton Nowicki of St. Paul
Burial was made in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Danny Slupski, Joe Piowni, Francis Kocherer, Stanley Mihalek, Florian Przybylski and Steve Danielewicz.
