Newell, Sharon (Marriage - 28 November 1959)

A quiet wedding took place Saturday in Black River Falls when Sharon Newell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Newell of Humbird, became the bride of Kenneth Fitzpatrick of Black River Falls, in a single ring ceremony.

The bride chose for her wedding a light blue sheath dress with black Accessories, and wore a corsage of white carnations and red rosebuds.  Her sister, Miss Judy Newell, served as maid-of-honor.  Roger Laufenburg was the groomsman.

A reception was held in the Newell home for about 50 relatives and close friends.  Those coming from outside the Black River Falls and Hixton area were: Mr. and Mrs. Martin Brewer, Mr. and Mrs. Burleigh Keller, and Mrs. Vilas Hardy of La Crosse.

The young people will make their home in Black River Falls, where he is employed.
