Zwanenburg, John (18 SEP 1884 - 4 DEC 1956)
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Cecil Ward at the Thorp Funeral Chapel at 2:00 o’clock Friday afternoon for John Zwanenburg, 72, who passed away at the Stanley hospital on Tuesday, Dec. 4th, 1956 after a lingering illness. He was a resident of this community for many years and after retiring from active farming had been residing with his wife in the Town of Mead (Clark Co., Wis.), who is the only survivor.
He was born in Holland on Sept. 18, 1884.
Burial will be made in the East Thorp Cemetery.
