Funeral services were conducted Monday from the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. Cora Rose Humboldt, 77, who was found dead in her bed Christmas morning at her home in Neillsville. The Rev. Virgil Holmes, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiated, and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Humboldt, the former Cora Halbrader, was born February 3, 1882, in Jefferson County, daughter of the late August and Amelia (Lother) Halbrader.  She received her education in the Jefferson schools, and on October 16, 1900, was married to William Humboldt, who died in 1942.
