Swenson, Marian (Marriage - 24 December 1959)
Marian Swenson, the former Marian Appleyard, was married on Christmas Eve in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Durand, to Truman Hickethier of Durand. The Rev. R. Bronstad officiated.
Attending the young couple were the bride’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Appleyard of Menomonie.
The new Mrs. Hickethier is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Appleyard of Neillsville. She owns and operates the Photo Rama Studio in Durand.
Mr. Hickethier, a native of Bloomer and a graduate of the State College at Eau Claire, is the principal of the Durand Public Grade School.
