Carl and Ray Family (6,000 mile trip –1960)
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Carl and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ray and daughter, Sherri, returned Sunday from a 6,000 mile auto trip to California and western beauty spots. The two families were gone three weeks, visiting a week at Corona, with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Becker and two children; the Marvin Voigts at San Diego; and the Joe Urlaub family in San Bernardino.
They experienced no highway trouble on the way west; but encountered snow and ice on the return, Mrs. Ray returned Monday morning to her teaching duties at Fairchild Grade School.
