Dyer, Dominic (? - 24 February 1894)
Dominic Dyer, one of the leading lumbermen of Stevens Point, Wis., and a member of the logging firm of Dyer & Martin, was severely injured on Feb. 15 while riding on the top of a load of logs near Cadott, Wis. The binding chain broke and one of the logs fell on Mr. Dyer, causing serious internal injuries and breaking a number of bones. He was taken to his home at Stevens Point on Tuesday of last week and on Saturday died from the results of his injuries.
