Oleksiewicz, Julia (20 JUL 1869 - 12 JAN 1957)
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church Monday morning for Mrs. Julia Oleksiewicz, 88 years of age, who passed away at the Stanley hospital on Saturday morning, Jan. 12th, 1957 of old age infirmities. She was born in Poland July 20, 1869.
Assisting Father Francis Piekarski at the requiem high Mass were Father Connie Chilicki and Father Eugene Knopka of Lublin.
Mrs. Oleksiewicz had been living with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Zurakowski in the Township of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).
She was laid to rest in the new cemetery of St. Hedwig’s Parish.
