Schroeder, Jerome (Military Notes - 1960)
Jerome Schroeder, boilerman second class, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Struensee, Jr. of Rt. 2 Neillsville, returned to San Diego, Calif., February 1, aboard the destroyer USS Gregory after a five-month tour of duty with the seventh fleet in the western Pacific. Besides participating in various operational exercises, the Gregory and her crew visited Hawaii, Japan, Hong Kong and the Philippines.
