Gehrt, Otto Emil (11 January 1892 - 15 February 1960)

 

Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 p.m. for Otto Emil Gehrt, 68, who died Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a patient since January 29.

 

The Rev. Frank B. Harcey of the United Church will officiate, and burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Mr. Gehrt was a lifelong resident of Clark County and operated a farm with his brother, Willie H. and sister, Martha R. Gehrt.  He was born January 11, 1892, in Neillsville and was the son of the late Herman A. and Emelia (Krueger) Gehrt.  He never married.

 

Surviving are four sisters: Mrs. Christian (Mary) Mohr, and Miss Martha R. Gehrt, of Rt. 2, Neillsville,  Mrs. Arthur (Elsie) Berger, of Neillsville, and Mrs. Charles (Emma) Marden, of the Hewettville area, and a brother, Willie H. Gehrt on the home farm, at Rt. 2 Neillsville.  Also surviving are nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces.
