Charley George Butterfield, 58, died at his home at 8:15 a.m. February 7 due to a heart attack.  He was born December 12, 1901, at Atkin, Minn., to Mr. and Mrs. George Butterfield, but spent his childhood at Warrens.

He was married to Vida Andrews on January 6, 1923, at Warrens. They moved to Perkinstown, where one son, Harold was born. They moved back to Warrens, where a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Lucille) Green was born.  They moved to Merrillan where Mrs. Roy (Genevie) Eddy and Gregory were born.  They all survive, as do three sisters, Mrs. Elmo Johnson of Hibbing, Minn., Mrs. Bill Johnson of Richfield, and Mrs. Georgen Olson of Cedarburg; and 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Butterfield was baptized in the home last summer by  Rev. Robert Isler of the Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held February 10 at 2 P.m. from the Methodist Church, with the Rev. Isler officiating. The song service was given by Rufus Dimmick, with Miss Darlene Anger as accompanist.
