Bayuk, Balbina #2 (31 MAR 1884 - 3 FEB 1957)
Mrs. John (Balbina) Bayuk, 72, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), died Sunday afternoon at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where she had been a patient since Nov. 22 following a stroke.
Funeral services were conducted at the William Bayuk farm residence at Willard Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., preceding the 10 o’clock funeral Mass read at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. Rosary services were held Tuesday evening.
The Rev. Augustine Svete was celebrant of the Mass and burial rites followed in the parish cemetery.
The former Balbina Oman was born in St. Stephen, Minn., March 31, 1884. She came with her husband to the Willard area in 1910, settling on the farm now operated by their son William. Since her husband’s death in April 1946, she had been making her home with her children.
They are: Mrs. Hugo (Genevieve) Quast and Mrs. Joseph (Gertrude) Godec, both of Marshfield; Mrs. Anton (Dorothy) Fortuna, Chicago; Mrs. I. A. (Mary) Cesnik, Millsboro; Mrs. Rudolph (Verna) Hollman, Milwaukee; Mrs. Alvin (Florence) Klinke and Frank of Greenwood; Joseph and Albert, Joliet, Ill.; and William and Edward of Willard.
