Wren, Rochelle (Marriage - 5 March 1960)
Miss Rochelle Wren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wren of Neillsville, and Walter Schmidt, Rt. 2, Neillsville, son of Mrs. Ella Schmidt, exchanged nuptial vows Saturday in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. V. Ganz of Loyal in the Zion American Lutheran Church in Pine Valley.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a beige suit with matching accessories. A corsage of pink roses and lilies-of-the-valley was pinned to her shoulderline.
Miss Linda Wren of West Bend was her sister’s maid-of-honor. She wore a gray suit and a yellow hat. Her corsage consisted of yellow roses.
David Dyer of Neillsville was bestman.
A reception was held in the church basement, which was decorated with pink and yellow roses and white carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt are residing in an apartment on North Hewett Street.
Relatives from away here for the wedding were: Mrs. Myrtle Polzin, Racine; Mrs. Hada Cardarelle and Janel, West Bend; Mrs. Sam Rush, Merrillan; Mrs. La Verle Fanning, Minnesota; Mrs. Stephie Gabrovic and Janet, Willard; Mrs. Albena Celesnik and Marion, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wehrman and family, Withee; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wren, West Bend.
