Arbs, Anny (? - 20 March 1960)
Mrs. Anny Arbs, 79, former resident of Greenwood, died March 20 at a Menomonie nursing home, where she had been for two months, prior to that she had been hospitalized for two months in Eau Claire, following a stroke.
Mrs. Arbs, a native of Switzerland, resided for 15 years with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Arbs, Jr. in Eau Claire and Altoona, following the death of her husband, Louis Arbs, Sr., who for many years owned and operated a garage in Greenwood.
Mrs. Arbs was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Forest Queen Camp of Royal Neighbors of Greenwood.
Surviving are her son Louis; three grandsons, of Altoona; and a sister in Switzerland.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in Eau Claire. Burial was made in the Rest Haven Garden Cemetery.
Those from Greenwood who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hohl, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hohl, Mrs. Anita Miller, Mrs. Christ Keiner, Mrs. Lawrence Cox, Mrs. Minnie Cox, Mrs. Alice Perkins and Miss Louise Keiner.
Walter Hohl was a pallbearer.
