Ducommun, Leon "Frenchy" (27 SEP 1890 - 4 APR 1957)
Funeral services for Leon (Frenchy) Ducommun, 58, East Birch St., Chippewa Falls, were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Holcombe Methodist Church, with Rev. McEathron officiating. Interment was in the Holcombe Cemetery.
Mr. Ducommun passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on April 4, 1957. He was born in Chippewa County on Sept. 27, 1890, and was a mechanic by trade. His marriage to Esther Hesse took place in 1920.
Surviving are his wife; four sons, Earl of Seattle, Wash., Leo of Gilman, Harold and Norman of Chippewa Falls, one daughter, Mrs. Perry (Marion) Hayes, City, one sister, Mrs. Oscar Johnson of Eau Claire; a brother, Arthur of Eau Claire, and 20 grandchildren. One daughter preceded him in death.
