Hoff, George P. #4 (4 MAR 1886 - 9 APR 1957)

George P. Hoff of Abbotsford, Wis. passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 9, 1957, at his home.  He had been at St. Joseph’s Hospital since March 7^th when he suffered a stroke.  He returned home on Saturday, April 6^th.

Mr. Hoff was owner of the Hoff Hardware Store in Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) for 31 years.  He retired 3 years ago because of poor health and for the past 3 years had lived at Abbotsford.  He was 71 years old on March 4^th.

Mr. Hoff leaves to mourn, his wife (Martha Brecklin), 3 daughters, Mrs. John (Dorothy) McCorison of Owen, Mrs. Howard (Myrtle) Stoltenberg of Wittenberg, Mrs. Lawrence (Ethel) Boardman of Thorp, and one son, Harley of San Mateo, Calif.  Also 11 grandchildren.
