Rotary Meeting (28 March 1960)
Dr. Roger Heineck was elected president of the Neillsville Rotary Club at the meeting Monday evening. Russel Vandeberg was elected vice president, and Jack Bertz secretary-treasurer. They will be installed at the first meeting in July, along with the members of the board of directors, who include: Larry Langreck, Donald Braatz, Ford Holum and John R. Bergemann.
Mr. Braatz reported that Joe Pasek, owner of the area at Bruce Mound Ski Slide, had made an offer to sell which will be presented to the Clark County board at its spring session.
The club decided to drop a plan to move the former O & N office building there. This action was influenced by the fact that it was to be moved before April 15, and roads would not be satisfactory; and that the Bruce Mound area is privately owned.
Wayne Grap presented information on the proposed community swimming pool.
Donald Johnson is in charge of the program for Monday evening.
