Dyre, Marilyn Jean (Marriage - 16 April 1960)
Miss Marilyn Jean Dyre of Greenwood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth L. Dyre, and Richard Paul Baughman, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ernest Baughman of Greenwood were married April 16, in a double ring ceremony at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood, performed by the Rev. Ira J. Tanner.
The bride wore a white ballerina-length gown of nylon net and lace. Her crown was covered with sequins, and she carried a bouquet of white carnations and red tea roses.
The church was decorated with white carnations and white lilies, and the aisle was decorated with aisle bouquets and candles.
The maid-of-honor was the bride’s sister, DeVanne Dyre, and the bridesmaid was Alice Baughman of Neillsville. The bestman was John Baughman, the groom’s brother, and the groomsman was Jim Berrett of Spencer.
The organ music was played by Don Warner, and Mrs. Loretta Baughman sang "The Wedding Prayer," and "Oh Perfect Love."
The young couple will live in Greenwood, where the groom is employed. They are on a honeymoon trip to the Southern states.
