Dudei, Bruno (22 July 1874 - 30 April 1960)
Funeral services were held May 2, from the Zion American Lutheran Church, Town of Grant for Bruno Dudei, 85, Rt. 2, Granton, who died Saturday morning, April 30, in Neillsville. The Rev. Phillip Mueller of Nasonville officiated, and burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mr. Dudei was born in Germany, July 22, 1874 and came to America at the age of 14. He farmed in the Town of Grant most of his life. He married the former Anna Goebel December 2, 1903.
Surviving are his wife, two sons, Harold and Hubert Dudei, both of Granton; two daughters, Mrs. George (Renate) Beyer, Granton, and Mrs. Sophie Matthews, Milwaukee; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Hemp of Neillsville.
Pallbearers were: Ervin Hemp, Herman Hemp, Wilbert Goebel, Allen Matthews, Ralph Beyer and Earl Beyer.
Relatives from away who attended were: Mrs. Sophie Matthews and son, Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Beyer, Earl Beyer, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Graeser, Miss Joanne Holfelder, and Carl Seefeld all of Milwaukee.
