The Rev. and Mrs. J. B. Brandt were honored at a farewell party given by the Lutheran Ladies’ Aid at the home of Mrs. Clarence Gosse on Friday afternoon.
The afternoon was spent socially in group singing. Mrs. Chet Knight read a poem, "The Preacher’s Wife," and Mrs. James Archambo read one entitled "Great Grand Mother."
A pot luck lunch was then served.
