Zoellick, Ronald E. (March 11, 1937 - November 19, 2010)
Ronald E. Zoellick, age 73, of Dorchester passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 at Golden Living Center, Abbotsford.
Ronald was born March 11, 1937 in Palatine, Illinois to Rudolph and
Alma (Kruse) Zoellick.
He was joined in marriage to his wife Thelma, on February 2, 1975, in Elgin, Illinois.
He worked as a dairy farmer until his retirement in 2000. Ronald was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting, tending to his garden, pitching horseshoes and shooting pool. Most of all Ronald enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is lovingly survived by his wife Thelma, his four sons; Rick
Zoellick, Larry (Valerie) Zoellick, Raymond (Michelle) Zoellick,
Mark (Terri) Zoellick, his three step-sons; Dale Sanders, Roger
(Lynette) Sanders, and Tracy (Mary) Sanders. He is further survived
by 16 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and his brother,
Vernon (Janice) Zoellick.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, his granddaughter,
Quinette, and his sister, Barbara.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m.
Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Christ Lutheran Church in
Abbotsford. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010
from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in
Abbotsford and also at the church one hour prior to the service on
Wednesday. Inurnment will take place at Christ Lutheran Cemetery,
Abbotsford following the service. Rev. Dr. Paul C. Hunsicker Sr.
will officiate.
The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is assisting the
