Eidsvold Epitome (12 April 1894)

Frank Baker is the possessor of a new top buggy. (The girls all like Frank now.)

Miss Maggie Carey of Boyd visited with her aunt Mrs. Kate Storey last Sunday.

Mrs. Dobbin, son and daughter, of Edson were the guest of Charlie Robinson’s people last Sunday.

D. D. Mohr, merchant and postmaster at Edson, was in the village a few hours on Thursday last.

H. V. Jerard is said to be dangerously ill.  Dr. McCutcheon is in attendance.

Mrs. Elmer Warner is very low with pneumonia.  Dr. McCutcheon is attending her.

Our village teacher, Miss Maggie Zimmerman attended teacher’s examination at Cadott last Wednesday and Thursday.

Mrs. O., S. Evenson and children started for their home at South Wayne, Wis., where Mr. E. preceded them, on Monday. 

W. S. Warner started for a visit with old friends at Poquette, Wis., on Monday.

Miss Rosa LaVine of Augusta has been paying her cousin Mrs. Ida Reed at this place a visit.

Peter Peterson started on an exploring trip through the western states on Monday.

The Rev. J. B. Bachman preached an unusually good sermon here last Sunday.
